I think not only Rebecca does exist in costume form. For example, I've found this Baloo. (Sorry for the logo over photo).

They also existed as actual characters at the Disney Parks, not just fan projects.

At some point, just about everyone in the Disney Afternoon lineup was a costume character in the parks.  Sadly, as time went on, and memory faded, the characters were one-by-one retired.

The only surviving Disney Afternoon character that still does regular appearances in the park, as far as I know, is Launchpad.

Would Gadget still appear at Disneyland, at least on rare occasion? She still has a ride named after her.

One of my friends is going to play Kit Cloudkicker there. But he still didn't got call from WDW, despite he really was employed. Just these days Kit isn't seen there, but I hope he will appear one day.
